Mum Keeps Plastic Bag Inside Better Plastic Bag for Special Occasion

SURREY - A British Pakistani mum has confirmed that one particularly high-quality plastic bag is being kept safely inside a slightly less prestigious plastic bag until an occasion worthy of its use presents itself.

The bag, believed to have originated from a “nice shop” several years ago, has so far survived multiple house clear-outs, kitchen reorganisations and repeated attempts by family members to use it for completely inappropriate purposes such as carrying things.

“This one is a good bag,” she explained, removing it briefly before immediately folding it back up. “You don’t just use it for anything.”

Experts believe the bag’s defining features include unusually thick plastic, strong handles and a logo impressive enough to suggest the family may once have purchased something expensive.

Attempts to establish what would qualify as a suitable occasion remain unsuccessful.

Her son reportedly made the mistake of reaching for it earlier this week while taking some clothes to the charity shop.

“Not that one,” she shouted from another room, despite having no visible line of sight to the cupboard.

The family instead provided him with a Tesco bag containing another Tesco bag, two smaller bags and a receipt from 2019.

At time of publication, the good bag had been returned to its original position, where it is expected to remain until at least 2034.
